CROWDS flocked to Chester Racecourse yesterday (Saturday, July 28) for the popular Midsummer Meeting event.
Everyone was dressed in their best suits and dresses as the event got underway from 11.30am.
There was a packed racecard with seven races in total. Here are the winners if you missed them:
- 2.10 – Seagolazo – Kevin Scott/Hugo Palmer
- 2.45 – Grey Fable – Sean Dylan Bowen/Karl Thornton
- 3.20 – Light Speed – Joanna Mason/Gemma Tutty
- 4.05 – Garfield Shadow – Connor Murtagh/Richard Fahey
- 4.40 – Count D’Orsay – Sean Kirrane/Tim Easterby
- 5.20 – Paws For Thought – Charlie Maggs/Donald McCain
- 5.50 – Grey Cuban – Jason Hart/Hugo Palmer
The day also saw the Racecourse’s premium dining venue PARADE taken over by Elliot Hill, the executive chef from the Chester Grosvenor’s Arkle restaurant, for an exclusive experience.
Situated alongside the finishing post, the venue provides a 360-degree of the whole racecourse with private roof terrace which hosts just 70 guests.
