A POPULAR gastropub near Chester is set to continue its Guest Chef Series with a familiar face.
A regular feature at The White Horse in Churton, the series sees some of the finest chefs in the country collaborate with the Elite Bistros venue to create a special five course menu.
Previous events have featured the likes of Simon Rimmer, Tom Kerridge and Angela Hartnett.
This time around it will be the turn of Elite Bistros’ Executive Chef Richard Sharples.
Richard joined the group in 2016 and has subsequently helped founder Gary Usher to open the likes of Wreck in Liverpool, Pinion in Prescot, Kala in Manchester and most recently The White Horse itself.
Richard has been instrumental in Elite Bistros’ success with several awards including ‘Restaurant of the Year’ for Hispi at the Food and Travel Awards in London and its rank as 29th in the National Restaurant Awards Top 100.
The upcoming event’s menu will take inspiration from the Balearic Islands, with some excellent Spanish produce, including a braised Iberico pork rib main and a tres-leches cake dessert.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 3 with tickets priced at £100pp. Tickets can be book online.
