A BIKER was airlifted to hospital after a crash.
Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a crash in Middlewich.
Officers were called to Birch Lane at 2.37pm on Tuesday (July 30) and found a white Hyundai I10 and a Honda motorcycle had been involved in the collision.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 31-year-old man from Winsford, sustained 'serious injuries' and was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital via an air ambulance.
Inspector Steve Griffiths, of the Roads and Crime Unit, said: "I’d urge anyone who witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken to police to please contact us.
"The same goes for anyone with dashcam footage that may help us identify the car and driver involved in the collision.”
Anyone who witnessed the collision and could help the investigation should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via www.cheshire.police.uk//tell-us quoting IML-1883191.
The motorbike rider remains in the hospital as of 1pm on Wednesday (July 31) and his condition is described as stable.
