A COLLISION involving a large goods vehicle on a Cheshire West industrial estate resulted in a major emergency response.
One fire engine, plus the major rescue unit from Winsford and two fire engines from Northwich and Middlewich attended the scene on Road One, Winsford at about 10.20am today (Friday, August 2).
A man had been hit by the HGV trailer.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters are currently assisting other emergency services with a road traffic collision involving a large goods vehicle.
"One casualty was brought to safety by firefighters and given first aid, the casualty is being taken to hospital by air ambulance.
"Fire crews will soon be reducing resources and leaving the incident with the police."
