A MAN has been taken to hospital after he was found collapsed in a hotel room.
Emergency services, including the police and the air ambulance, were called to the Happy Guests Lodge hotel, in Tarporley Road, Dutton, shortly before 9am today.
Following treatment at the scene, the man was conveyed to hospital via road ambulance.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: " We were called by the ambulance service to reports of a man found collapsed in a hotel room.
"Ambulances and the helimed unit were in attendance. A man was taken to Warrington Hospital via road."
A North West Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called at 8.35am. Two ambulances, a senior paramedic and the air ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
"We were there to attend to an individual who was taken ill at the location. The patient was taken to hospital by land ambulance."
