A MAN from Ellesmere Port has pleaded not guilty charge of violent disorder in Liverpool.
Jimmy Bailey of Station Avenue, Ellesmere Port, was charged with committing violent disorder on Paradise Street in Liverpool on Saturday, August 3.
Officers witnessed a group throwing stones, bricks and missiles at officers.
A row of officers moved to take one of the suspects to the ground and detain him.
Bailey was remanded into custody and appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court today (Monday, August 5).
The 45-year-old appeared wearing a grey jumper and spoke to confirm his name, date of birth and address before pleading not guilty to the single count.
He is remanded into custody and will appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, August 30.
