The newly elected Member of Parliament for Chester South and Eddisbury, Aphra Brandreth, is off to a busy start.

The MP is holding a ‘summer surgery tour’ across all 13 wards in the constituency throughout August, from Lache in the north west and just inside the city of Chester, to Wybunbury in the south.

Last year, the Boundary Commission for England redrew parliamentary constituency boundaries, meaning that the wards of Handbridge Park, Christleton and Huntington, Lache, and Wybunbury now sit within the Chester South and Eddisbury constituency.

The new MP is holding her first surgery in Lache on Wednesday, August 14, and will visit all four corners of the constituency throughout August.

Constituents are encouraged to email Aphra Brandreth’s parliamentary inbox should they wish to speak to their local MP about any issue. The MP can be contacted at: aphra.brandreth.mp@parliament.uk

Aphra Brandreth MP said: “I am very much looking forward to visiting all 13 wards across our constituency over the course of the summer.

"During the General Election campaign I thoroughly enjoyed meeting with so many people across Chester South and Eddisbury and I am delighted and grateful that I now have the opportunity to help as their MP.

“Ensuring that constituents are heard and listened to is a top priority for me and I am keen to start as I mean to go on – visiting all the wards in our constituency and meeting with as many constituents as possible.

"I made a commitment to be a visible local MP during the campaign and I am keeping this promise. This will be the first of many tours across the constituency and I will be sure to visit different venues at different times so that I can meet as many of you as possible.

“I will be holding regular surgeries across the constituency and at my office in Tarporley so please do not hesitate to contact me at aphra.brandreth.mp@parliament.uk if I can be of any assistance.”
