DEVA Fest has announced that its fourth year has been its biggest to date.

The annual festival, which concluded this past weekend, saw its largest crowds so far as nearly 20,000 people visited the stunning gardens of Cholmondeley Castle across August 8-11 for a jam-packed lineup of music, comedy and entertainment.

This year’s festival was headlined by iconic musical acts The Coral, The Human League and Ocean Colour Scene who all took to the main stage and delivered unforgettable performances to the festival's biggest ever crowds. 100’s of acts performed across the festival's five stages over the four days, seeing everything from standup comedy, local choirs and a pitstop from Eastenders Shaun Williamson who brought his popular ‘Barrioke’ show on Sunday, which saw him duet with festival attendees on some karaoke classics.

Festival-goers also indulged in a variety of culinary delights with food stalls once again led by Chester business Artezzan, whilst the four bars were manned by the team at iKO. Their offerings, which included a mix of gourmet street food and drinks including craft beer courtesy of Vocation Brewery, Brothers Cider and ThinK Wine, were a hit among attendees, with sell outs across the board.

Reflecting on the success of this year’s event, Deva Fest organiser Phil Marston said: “We are absolutely thrilled with how Deva Fest 2024 has turned out and the feedback we received so far. The atmosphere was electric and it was wonderful to see so many families, friends and festival lovers coming together to enjoy everything we had on offer. Each year, our goal is to create a festival that not only showcases top talent but also fosters a real sense of community and I think we’ve truly achieved that. We’re already looking ahead to 2025 and we can’t wait to announce what we’ve got in store.”

Looking ahead, the organisers have announced that Deva Fest will return to Cholmondeley Castle from August 7-10, 2025, to be first to know about next year, you can sign up on the festival’s website at: https://shorturl.at/McNZQ.
