An Ellesmere Port student is celebrating after receiving top grades in all his A-levels.
Louis Cotton found he had earned a superb five A*s when he went to collect his results on Thursday, August 15 at Whitby High School.
The top achiever, who made the grades in history, politics, English language and literature, religious studies and an extended project qualification (EPQ), is heading to London next month to study politics and international relations at UCL.
Proud dad Peter said: "Louis has had a very happy and enjoyable time at Whitby High School and we are extremely proud of everything he has achieved. We are excited to see what the future holds for him."
In a post on social media, Whitby High School said: "We are thrilled to celebrate Louis, who has achieved an incredible 5 A*s in his A-levels!
"This outstanding accomplishment is a testament to your hard work, dedication, and passion for learning.
"As you prepare to embark on your next journey to university this September, we have no doubt that you will continue to excel and inspire others. Your future is incredibly bright, and we can't wait to see all the amazing things you will achieve.
"Well done, Louis! We are so proud of you!"
