It was another day to celebrate at the King's School Chester as students collected an excellent set of results.
Leavers will be going on to university to study such courses as law, medicine, neuroscience, aerospace engineering and theology.
Almost 30 per cent of pupils achieved an A* grade, with 79 per cent of pupils achieving at least one or more grade As. Overall, more than half of all grades were A*/A and nearly 80 per cent were A*/B.
Head of Sixth Form, Josh Carter, said: “I wish them all the very best for the next chapter of their academic careers. I am pleased to see that the pathways they’ve chosen, in terms of university courses or ambitious gap years, reflect their true passions and interests.
