Residents of a care home were thrilled by a visit from an 86-year-old classic car.
The 1938 Bentley made a surprise visit to Crabwall Hall care home in Chester, much to the delight of the residents.
The car owner Paul, from a nearby village, brought it over for all to see.
General manager Nicole Welch said that the residents enjoyed the visit.
She: "We knew that some of our residents have a particular liking for these vehicles and it was great to see their faces light up."
Residents Gerald Hickling, John-Mayne Brown, and Alan Davis were particularly taken with the classic car.
They had a look around, admired the engine, and even sat inside to appreciate the interior.
Owner Paul also treated them to a short drive in the Bentley.
Mr Hickling, Mr Brown, and Mr Davis all said that they thought the car was "lovely."
Crabwall Hall care home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to delivering personalised care across its care homes and hospitals.
Crabwall Hall provides residential care for 38 residents, from respite care to long-term stays.
