Set in the quaint streets of Hoole, Hamilton Court Hotel boasts 13 boutique rooms that have been newly renovated to start the dawn of a new era for customers.

Hamilton Court Hotel has been an established business for over 50 years in the thriving and increasingly popular area of Hoole, Chester.

The area, known as ‘Notting Hoole’ by the local residents, has a wide variety of independent shops, cafes and restaurants and is just a 10-minute walk from Chester Train Station.

The hotel is now in the hands of a new family-owned business and has undergone a complete refurbishment. The business owners have improved the room layout and designed brand new bathrooms.

Daisy Bartlett, the project’s interior designer, opted for a botanical theme to give a feeling of freshness and lightness. She has also created an entirely new, 3-person loft room with views of Chester city centre.

“It is beautifully fitted out, a tasteful example of a converted loft space in a Hoole townhouse.”

Amy Bartlett, the operations manager, says “the old hotel had wooden panels downstairs and a reception desk under the stairs - it made things seem very dark. Keeping things light and fresh feels like the dawn of a new era for our Bed and Breakfast guests.”

The new hotel has a light and bright feel which stands out as a fresh take on the classic Bed and Breakfast. The new rooms have been designed specifically with guests’ comfort in mind, which includes Royal Warrant Hypnos Beds.

“We want to serve customers and make them feel like they arrived home, whether they are staying for one night or a week.”
