A LARGE emergency services presence is currently dealing with an incident in North Wales.
The roads in the vicinity of Beaumaris Pier have closed due to an "incident" this afternoon (August 28).
Police have urged people to avoid the area for the time being.
At 3.31pm, North Wales Police said: "We are currently dealing with an incident in Beaumaris in the area of the pier.
"Multiple emergency services are in attendance and a road closure is in place.
"We are asking people to avoid the area and find alternative routes where possible."
It is understood that the an air ambulance has landed at the scene.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed it is also in attendance.
A service spokesperson said it received a call at 2.56pm, and has sent three crews to the scene.
A spokesperson for Wales Air Ambulance said: "I can confirm that Wales Air Ambulance attended an incident in the Beaumaris area this afternoon (August 28).
"We sent two crews by air and arrived on scene at 3.06pm.
"Our involvement concluded at 4.28pm."
