CHESTER FC saw off Peterborough in convincing fashion at the weekend, with a 3-0 victory at the Deva.
In form forward Charlie Caton continued his excellent start to the season, sliding the ball under Peterborough’s Peter Crook in the 19th minute to give the Seals the lead.
A fifth goal in four games for the Chester man.
Another goal arrived just four minutes later for the home side, with Harrison Burke tapping in at the back post following Kurt Willoughby’s low cross.
The final flourish came in the 71st minute of a relatively quiet second half, as Tom Peers scored his first of the season with a powerful strike from the right side of the box which flashed past the keeper.
Iwan Murray also had an effort ruled out for offside.
The clinical victory leaves Chester in eighth, as they travel to Kidderminster on Tuesday looking to build on their four-game unbeaten run.
