FIREFIGHTERS were called to an address in Ellesmere Port this afternoon (Wednesday, September 4) after reports of a fire.
Two fire engines, one from Ellesmere Port and another from Powey Lane Fire Station, arrived at the scene on Sutton Way at around 3.30pm.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus to enter the smoke-filled flat, and two rose reel jets were utilised to extinguish the fire.
Thankfully, all occupants were accounted for and a high pressure fan was later used to clear the smoke from the property.
