A VILLAGE pub has welcomed its third celebrity visitor within days.

Earlier this week, Ring O’Bells in Daresbury revealed that it was visited by Michelle Keegan and her husband Mark Wright.

The former is perhaps best known for her role in Coronation Street, while she has also starred in the hit Netflix drama Fool Me Once, and TV shows Our Girl and Brassic.

The latter meanwhile is a radio presenter for Heart, and has appeared in The Only Way Is Essex, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! and Strictly Come Dancing.

The celebrity couple visited the Chester Road venue on Monday – but staff welcomed a third celebrity on Tuesday.

This was none other than Ricky Tomlinson – best known for his role as Jim Royle in sitcom The Royle Family, as well as soap opera Brookside.

The 84-year-old is good friends with Padgate-born Sue Johnston, with whom he shared the screen in both series.
