A fallen tree blocking rail tracks has caused disruption to Merseyrail services in Ellesmere Port this morning (Wednesday, September 11).
As a result, train services are starting and ending at Hooton, with no trains running along the Ellesmere Port line.
Merseyrail has announced that rail replacement buses are now in operation between Ellesmere Port and Hooton in both directions.
Passengers are advised to visit merseyrail.org for more information.
