Northern Girls - Clonterbrook Gallery

An independent artist-owned gallery selling original and limited edition contemporary art from two locations in Knutsford - the boutique Vermilion Art Gallery and the 6,000sq ft Vermilion Studios, a unique gallery on two floors.

Hill Farm Gallery


Hill Farm Gallery is a newly opened art gallery nestled in the Cheshire countryside, one and a half miles west of Sandbach. James House who specialises in wildlife art, is the resident artist.

The aim is to promote and exhibit local artists including original drawings, prints, paintings, cards and ceramics. From October 6 to 13 it is hosting a Christmas card collective by local artists.

The gallery and a small work room are also available for hire for workshops and exhibitions.

Visit Friday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm and enjoy a drink and homemade cake in the pop-up café.

Place for the Arts in Chester CIC


Place for the Arts in Chester (PACh), a community interest group, currently has two galleries in Chester, 'ArtPop' and 'Art at the Cross'

It's a simple concept, find an empty shop, and local artists to exhibit, sell their work, and staff the gallery. Thus offering the public a unique opportunity to meet artists, pick their brains about the creative process, and inspiration. Browsers are welcomed, as adding to the cultural variety of Chester is the aim, keeping high streets alive.

PACh has successfully run six galleries with more than 70 Cheshire-based artists, some of which will be showcasing their work in a fifth birthday exhibition at Storyhouse soon.
