A TOP Chester restaurant is urging its customers to put its name forward for The Good Food Guide’s Best Sunday Roast 2024.
Acknowledging the country’s love of a delicious roast, the Good Food Guide are searching for the very best Sunday lunch, whether that’s from restaurants, pubs, bistros, hotels or even food vans.
Now, The Forge restaurant, part of Hotel Indigo Chester, is reminding visitors to cast their votes before the deadline on October 6.
Elizabeth Carter, co-editor of The Good Food Guide, said of this year’s search: “Every time we read through readers' feedback to the guide, it strikes us that achieving recognition for the many fantastic Sunday dining places across the country galvanises you.
“A Sunday roast is, by far, your favourite meal.
“Here’s the chance to shine a light on your own favourite Sunday spot.
“And you don’t have to be a roast beef traditionalist – a Sunday roast comes in more than one flavour.
“Remember, the key is somewhere you want to go back to time and time again.”
Those that do vote with the Good Food Guide will be automatically entered into a prize draw with a chance to win a £250 restaurant voucher.
A shortlist of the front-running establishments will be announced in October before Britain's Best Sunday Roast is crowned at the end of November.
The winning establishment will win a 'money-can't-buy prize' from Koffmann’s Potatoes along with 20 cases of award-winning condiments from Tracklements.
Would The Forge get your vote? If not, what’s your go-to spot for a Sunday roast?
