THE best of the Northwest will be descending on Chester next month as The Makers Market stops at Exchange Square and Town Hall Square.

Expect FREE children’s crafting, local artists, live music and of course the finest artisan eats and sweet treats from 10am until 4pm on Saturday, October 5.

There will be some special food traders on offer as well, including:

The Camels Hump Lebanese Street Food: The most delicious traditional and authentic Middle Eastern bakery, where you can pick up some mezzes, falafel, hummus and even Lebanese baklawa.

Table Chocolate: They ethically source fine flavour cocoa beans, roast them at a low temperature to keep the flavour in and bitterness out. They then crack, winnow, grind, conch, sieve and temper the chocolate themselves. Be sure to pick up some bars, hot chocolate and chocolate flakes from this truly sustainable, unique local business!

There’s plenty for the art aficionados too, here are just a few of the handmade stalls on the roster:

Water Witch Wellbeing: Get in touch with your spiritual side this October with DIY Spells, Reiki-infused crystals, tarot readings and holistic therapies. This business embraces and actively embodies and encourages accessible wellbeing for all!

Pots In Pieces Jewellery: Handcrafted stunning jewellery made from broken and unloved china. We love that this artist breathes new life into broken pottery creating one-of-a-kind upcycled unique pieces.

There will also be a range of artisan products including candles, reclaimed wood, samosas, hot sauce, olives, Turkish delight, giant stuffed cookies, unique homewares, sausage rolls, ceramics, textiles, prints, brownies, vinyl records, scotch eggs, soaps, colouring books, crochet, handmade clothing, honey, jams, pet treats and accessories, macarons, fudge and rum!

And families can bring their furry friends too as the market is dog friendly.
