The M56.
A collision on the M56 motorway near Chester is causing traffic delays this afternoon (Friday, September 27).
Drivers are being informed there are 20-minute delays as a result of the incident between Junctions 15 (M53 Interchange) and 14 (Hapsford/Chester Services) on the eastbound side of the carriageway.
Traffic monitoring service Inrix reports there is one lane closed and queueing traffic due to an accident near Junction 14.
Heavy traffic is being reported from Junction 15 eastbound, with queues also forming on the A5117 in Thornton-le-Moors.
