A WEATHER warning is in place for Chester and the surrounding areas today, Monday.
The Met Office issued the yellow weather warning for heavy rain from 12.30am today,(September 30) until 8pm today.
The Met Office states heavy rain is expected to cause some flooding and disruption in places.
Spray and flooding on roads is possible making journey times longer.
Bus and train services could be affected with journey times taking longer.
The Met Office also state that flooding of a few homes and businesses is also possible
