A Cheshire West town restaurant is celebrating keeping a top AA honour.
Frodsham’s restaurant Next Door has retained its 3 AA Rosettes, reaffirming its status as one of the country’s top dining destinations.
This accolade places the restaurant in a select group, with only a handful of establishments across the region earning this honour including The Vines at Carden and Arkle at Chester Grosvenor.
Awarded by AA’s restaurant inspectors, 3 Rosettes are given only to restaurants that demonstrate outstanding food quality, exemplary service, and a unique dining experience that demands recognition well beyond their local area.
Located in a charming 17th-century timber-framed building on Frodsham’s Main Street, Next Door was founded in 2017 by husband-and-wife team Richard and Vicki Nuttall. With a commitment to seasonality, sustainability, and locally sourced produce from Cheshire and North Wales, the restaurant offers a fresh take on British cuisine.
Chef-patron Richard Nuttall said: “This has been a year of hard work and evolution as we continue to strive for the highest standards. To be recognised again by the AA is humbling.
"It reflects the dedication of our outstanding team, who share our passion for delivering a truly memorable experience to every single customer walking through our doors.”
In addition to retaining its 3 AA Rosettes, Next Door has also retained its place in both the Good Food Guide and the Michelin Guide.
Owner and sommelier Vicki Nuttall added: “Our goal from the start has been to create something special here in my hometown of Frodsham.
"We’re really proud to be recognised by the industry’s most prestigious bodies, but more important still is the reaction that we get from our customers. We’re continuing to work closely with the best local suppliers to showcase everything that is wonderful about Cheshire and we’re really excited for what lies ahead.”
