A Chester nursery is running a charity event for people affected by baby loss.
Best Friends Day Nursery, located at Carlton House, Cestrian Court, Lightfoot Street, Hoole, is host a 'ribbon wall' in support of bereaved families.
It has been timed to coincide with Baby Loss Awareness Week, which runs from October 9 to October 15. It is a time for everyone in the baby loss community and beyond to come together, to remember much-loved and missed babies, and raise awareness of pregnancy and baby loss.
The organiser of the event at the Chester nursery is Andie Lloyd. For Andie, this is a cause close to her heart, as sadly in 2018 her great nephew Zach passed away aged just 12 days old.
People who have been affected by miscarriage, stillbirth, sudden infant death or child loss are invited to come to the nursery and donate a ribbon to the wall to remember their babies.
By the end of the week, the aim is there will be a ribbon wall of donated ribbons at the nursery.
Baby Loss Awareness Week is in support of Sands, a charity which aims to help save babies' lives and support anyone affected by pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.
