An award-winning author paid a visit to a Chester school to share her latest literary journey.
Hannah Gold, renowned for her acclaimed book 'The Last Bear', captivated Key Stage 2 and Year 7 pupils at The Queen's Lower School recently, during an engaging session centred around her new story, 'Turtle Moon'.

The audience was mesmerised by her storytelling prowess and imparted valuable insights into her creative process and the environmental themes woven into her work.
The session sparked curiosity and enthusiasm among the girls, who were particularly fascinated to learn quirky facts, such as how turtles breathe through their bums – a revelation that drew both laughter and awe!
