POSTCODE Lottery players in Ellesmere Port are celebrating after one lucky postcode was selected as part of today’s (Friday, October 11) daily jackpot draw.
Each player within the postcode (CH65 8AJ) will receive a £1,000 prize courtesy of the Postcode Education Trust.
The postcode is located on Harvard Place near the town centre.
The People’s Postcode Lottery manages lotteries for more than 20 charities and trusts, meaning players have a chance to win every day of the month.
Prizes range from the £1,000 daily jackpot up to a share of £1m.
A total of 33 percent of players’ £12 ticket price goes to charity with the more than £1.3b having been raised for good causes since 2005.
There were also winners in nearby Willaston (CH64 1RU).
