A NEW tile showroom has opened in a Cheshire town to mark a milestone in the successful growth of an online company.
Stone Superstore, a leading online retailer of natural stone and porcelain tiles, says Wilmslow is an 'ideal location' for its first retail outlet.
The company has achieved a consistent annual turnover of more than £10 million since it was launched 14 years ago.
The family firm prides themselves on being one of the leading porcelain and stone tile companies in the UK.
The team offers ‘beautiful materials and expert advice’ to help people create their dream home without breaking the bank.
The location of the three-storey showroom on Alderley Road was chosen by managing director Daniel Shamim’s personal connection to the area.
Mr Shamim said: “As a family-run business with roots in the North West and headquarters near Manchester, Wilmslow offers the ideal setting for expansion.
“Its vibrant high street is a hotspot for homeowners, families, designers, and architects, making it the perfect location to launch the brand’s first physical space.”
From natural stone slabs to decorative porcelain tiles, the new gallery style space offers customers a chance to see the company's premium collection first hand.
Molly Woodward-Moor, creative director, describes the showroom’s design as a reflection of the brand’s core values.
She said: “The design of the showroom reflects who we are as a brand; showcasing aspirational products that are simple to buy with an unexpected price tag.
“The bright yet calming nature of the space encourages our customers to experience the beauty and quality of our products in a stunning environment that takes the stress out of tile buying."
Both full and part-time jobs have been created following the opening of the new store.
The showroom team is made up of experts in home improvements offering detailed knowledge of design, installation and all things tile related.
