TWO dogs who are best friends and are forever side-by-side are in ‘desperate’ need of a forever home together.

Lola, a 10-year-old Sproodle, and Jack, a seven-year-old springer Frenchie cross, came into the care of Warrington Animal Welfare following the sad death of their beloved owner.

But they are struggling to cope in the kennels, off Slutchers Lane near the town centre, with staff hoping to find a home for them both.

“This lovely pair desperately need a foster or permanent home. Please share, as they really hate kennel life,” the shelter said.

“We believe in miracles, and we are hoping for a special one for these two best friends.

“Lola and Jack, a heartwarming duo, are in search of a loving home where they can stay together forever.

“Sadly, Lola and Jack recently lost their beloved owner. They have been together for years, with Jack originally adopted from WAW, and they thrive when they are side-by-side.

“These two have always been easy-going, are house trained and are friendly around visiting children, even though they have not lived with them full-time. They have never lived with cats.”

Lola is described as the ‘sweetest girl with a heart of gold’, and although she may be a little hard of hearing, she loves exploring the garden, and like Jack, she is wonderfully well-behaved.

She is used to short periods alone and is happy to snooze away while you are out. Lola has been Jack’s loyal companion and is equally good with other dogs.

Staff say Jack is the definition of a good boy, is charming, friendly, well-behaved and always ready for a game with his favourite squeaky toy.

Jack is also good with other dogs, great with people, shares his food bowl with Lola and is full of joy on walks.

WAW added: “Lola and Jack are looking for a home where they can stay together. They bring double the love, double the joy, and double the loyalty.

“If you are someone with a big heart, ready to open your home to not just one but two loving companions, then Jack and Lola would be eternally grateful.

“Do not miss out on the chance to meet this wonderful pair – apply today and make their dream of a forever home come true.”
