CARIBBEAN-inspired restaurant and bar, Turtle Bay, will bring the people of Chester a taste of what’s to come with a free pop-up jerk BBQ and mini Caribbean Carnival on Saturday, October 19.
Kicking off at 12 noon just outside the new restaurant at Chester Northgate, locals and visitors will experience all the legendary island vibes that Turtle Bay is famous for.
Turtle Bay’s grill masters will be firing up the jerk BBQ pit and serving samples of their famous jerk chicken wings all afternoon, along with other specialities and veggie options throughout the event.
A specially built beach shack bar will also be serving tastings of signature rum cocktails and mocktails.
Live music will be provided by steel pan soloist Zolatec creating the perfect weekend soundtrack of global beats and great vibes.
Simply follow the Caribbean aromas to the pop-up location in Exchange Square, where Turtle Bay will be based from 12pm until the food is gone… so arrive early to enjoy the party.
Phil Dukelow, Regional Operations Director at Turtle Bay said: “Our mini Caribbean Carnival is the perfect way to introduce the people of Chester to our signature rum, reggae and jerk right in the heart of the city.
“We can’t wait to open our doors and this event means we can bring a taste of what’s to come to the people of Chester ahead of that. Get ready to embrace the spirit of the Caribbean… but make sure you arrive early as when our delicious wings are gone - they’re gone!”
