TWO fire crews were called to commercial premises in Ellesmere Port this morning (Monday, October 14) after reports of a fire.
Fire engines from Ellesmere Port and Chester attended the scene on New Bridge Road, Wolverham at around 10am.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A fire involving machinery in a commercial premises has been attended by fire crews from Ellesmere Port and Chester.
“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was used to identify hot spots so crews could dampen down where necessary.
“The smoke was cleared with a high-pressure fan and by ventilating the building naturally by opening the shutters.”
