FOUR fire crews and a boat team were deployed to a village near Frodsham this morning (Thursday, October 17) after flooding left several people in danger.
The crews, who had come from Frodsham, Warrington, Chester and Northwich, had initially responded to a call from a person who had become trapped in their car due to the rising water.
Arriving shortly after midnight, the crews found that this person had since managed to get themselves out of the vehicle.
After picking up the first person, the crews then rescued a further two people from a flat at the same location on Ainsworth Lane, Crowton.
The electricity supply to the flat was also isolated as a precaution.
