A FLOOD warning is in place for the tidal River Dee from Grosvenor Bridge to The Groves.
High tides were expected to cause flooding in the early hours.
Highest tide level was expected to be at riverside properties from Grosvenor Bridge to the Groves at 02:45 am today (Monday, October 21).
A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: "Flooding is possible 0.5 hours either side of this time.
"We are closely monitoring the situation.
"Avoid low lying roads and footpaths near rivers, which may be flooded."
Areas at risk include riverside properties from Grosvenor Bridge to the Groves including parts of River Lane, Greenway Street and the Groves.
