FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a late night incident in Ellesmere Port.
One fire crew attended the scene in Civic Way at about 11.20pm yesterday (Monday, October 21).
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A hose reel jet was used to put out a fire in a large metal bin.
"The crew then dampened down the incident area.
"It is believed to have been started deliberately and police were informed."
