MOTORISTS are facing long delays on the M56 near Chester this evening (Tuesday, October 22) following a crash.
The incident has occurred eastbound between the Chester Services/Helsby turn off and Frodsham.
A lane closure is in place whilst emergency services deal with the incident.
Google's live traffic maps show congestion stretching from Runcorn to past the M53 junction.
