POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 72-year-old man died following a car crash in Chester yesterday (Tuesday, October 22).
At 5pm on Tuesday, a Toyota Rav 4 and a Citreon C3 were involved in a collision on the A56 Hoole Road at the junction with Mannings Lane South.
Sadly, the driver of the Citreon died at the scene.
Sgt Jon Dixon of Cheshire Police said: ““It was very busy at the time of the collision so I’d appeal to anyone who saw the collision or captured it on dashcam to contact us to help us establish the circumstances.”
