FIREFIGHTERS were called to an incident at a car park near Neston this afternoon (Wednesday, October 23).
A fire engine from Powey Lane Fire Station attended the incident on Hinderton Road at around 2.50pm.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: " Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish a fire in a hedge row on a car park in Neston.
“A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots in the area - there were no further signs of significant heat.”
