Heavy traffic is being reported on the A41 near Chester this evening (Wednesday, October 23).
The incident, understood to be a collision, has been reported on the A41 Whitchurch Road, affecting traffic in both directions between Platts Lane (Hatton Heath) and Saighton Lane in Waverton.
Traffic monitoring service Inrix is reporting that the road is partially blocked both ways and there are significant tailbacks, but sensors have recorded traffic being able to pass the scene.
Motorists are warned to expect delays.
