THE highly anticipated Turtle Bay Chester restaurant has now officially opened its doors, providing its rum, reggae and jerk to the city for the first time.
People from across the Chester community came together to celebrate the restaurant’s arrival with a launch party that transported guests to the sunny beaches of the Caribbean. Featuring a live reggae band, a DJ, and plenty of Turtle Bay’s signature cocktails and bites, the event showcased the amazing atmosphere that the new 3,000 sq ft. venue has to offer.
Guests included local businesses, avid foodies and the Lord Mayor of Chester, Councillor Razia Daniels making a special appearance.
Visitors in Chester can now get their hands on the restaurant’s famous jerk chicken, alongside other iconic dishes such as the crispy chilli squid and curry goat. And, with vegetarian and vegan dishes and a bottomless brunch offering available, there is something for everyone to enjoy no matter the occasion.
The opening also coincides with the launch of Turtle Bay’s new menu, offering mouth-watering new dishes such as Beef Cheek Stew, inspired by Oxtail, and Fish Tacos, as well as a reggae roast.
Chris Nolan, General Manager at Turtle Bay said:
“We’re delighted to bring our signature flavours to the streets of Chester - it’s been wonderful to see so many local faces already through our doors and dancing the night away at our launch event. It’s a beautiful city, and we’re thrilled to be bringing the spirit of the Caribbean to the community. Come on down to enjoy a vibrant mix or rum, reggae, jerk and all-round good vibes for yourself - we’d love to welcome you in!”
Councilor. Nathan Pardoe, Cabinet Member for Inclusive Economy, Regeneration & Digital Transformation added:
“The opening of Turtle Bay will be a vibrant and unique addition to Chester Northgate, it will widen the ever-growing choice of food and drink options in the city centre, and I would like to wish them every success.”
