THREE fire crews were called to a property in Ellesmere Port last night (Thursday, October 24) following reports of a fire.
Fire engines from Ellesmere Port, Powey Lane and Chester stations arrived at the scene on Badgers Close shortly after 11pm.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish a fire on the ground floor of the property.
A high-pressure fan was used to clear the smoke.
One casualty was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation.
