Road closed and man taken to hospital after crash in Ellesmere Port
A ROAD in Ellesmere Port has been closed this afternoon (Friday, October 25) and a motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash.
Police were called to the scene on Overpool Road at 3.15pm after a collision involving a car and a motorcycle.
Cheshire Police confirmed that the rider of the bike has been taken to hospital, his injuries are not believed to be life threatening at this time.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
Residents are advised to avoid the route until the recovery work is completed.
