THERE is heavy traffic on the M56 Eastbound near Ellesmere Port this afternoon (Tuesday, October 29) following an accident.
The incident, which occurred at junction 12 (Runcorn) has resulted in queueing traffic between junctions 12 and 14 (Chester Services).
Lane one has been closed.
National Highways expect normal traffic conditions to resume by around 2.15pm.
Delays in the area are currently thought to be around an additional 15 minutes against expected traffic.
