MOTORISTS will have two road closures to avoid on the National Highways network in Wirral next week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• M53, from 8pm November 5 to 6am November 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M53 southbound, J4 to J6 - carriageway closure for structure - maintenance on behalf of National Highways.
• M53, from 9pm November 7 to 5am November 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M53 northbound and southbound, four to 5 - lane closure for barriers - permanent.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
