Kath and Jim Gibb invested £1 million to bring the rare Georgian building back to life through a complete renovation in 2022.

The couple, who manage a property development business, used their expertise and conservation specialists to save the building which had fallen into disrepair.

With meticulous attention to detail, they blended heritage with opulent interiors to create six elegant boutique bedrooms.

The grade II listed Silk Rooms beside Knutsford Market Hall now offers six luxury ensuite hotel bedrooms.

The former silk mill, dating back to 1754, was converted into three terraced houses in 1818 and became a pub in the 1890s.
