CHESTER’S popular Abode hotel will dedicate the first Sunday in December to providing a special dining experience reminiscent of the singing waitstaff of Ellen’s in New York.
The hotel is already well respected for great service and now it seems that for one magical Sunday, diners will also be surrounded by song.
The Showon Company are creators of theatrical dining and their work has been staged in Canada, Australia and the United States.
They have always operated a policy of looking to audition local talent in a bid to offer young artists a proper and solid platform from which to aspire.
“We are delighted to be staging performances in Chester pre-Christmas", said the event company's producer, "we have walked the walls as well as the streets, and Chester appears to be awash with artistic inspiration.”
Expect to hear songs from some of The West End's greatest musicals including Phantom, Les Mis, Hamilton, West Side Story, Frozen, Lion King but to name just a few.
The production promise is that guests "will be able to enjoy a wide range of music, some to listen to, and some they can join in".
Immersive dining is one of the few recognised areas of growth within the battered hospitality industry and this pre-Christmas event should leave guests singing well after the final song is sung.
