FIREFIGHTERS were called to an incident on the outskirts of Chester city centre.
One fire crew attended the scene in Bumpers Lane yesterday (Sunday, November 10) at about 2pm.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews attended a small fire involving lithium-ion batteries.
"Firefighters used a hose reel jet to cool the batteries before submerging them in a container and monitoring them with a thermal imaging camera."
