A MAKERS market will be held on five weekends in Chester in the run up to Christmas.

The best of the North West will be showcased in 10 days of fun-filled and family-friendly holiday cheer.

A spokesperson for the events said: "Expect to be greeted with all the merry-and-bright cheer of 60+ handmade, artisan small businesses each day.

"There will be local artists, live music and of course the finest artisan eats and sweet treats.

"Support local this year and gift truly unique presents that can’t be found anywhere else, you will be completely spoilt for choice!"

There will be an abundance of incredible food traders, bringing their fabulous artisan products including: 

Sausage rolls, freeze-dried candy, Portuguese tarts, scotch eggs, cookies, local beer, specialty coffee, health drinks, doughnuts, Polish bread, olives, baklava, wine, fudge, cheesecakes, macarons, chocolate strawberries, handmade chocolate, honey, rum, brownies, gingerbread men decorating boxes, Italian sweets, hot sauce, eggnog, vegan brownies, cookie pies, rocky road, spice blends, pies, arancini, Lebanese deli, Christmas pudding liqueur, jams, Turkish delight, Asian snacks, coffee liqueur, giant stuffed NY cookies and more.

There’s plenty for the handmade and art aficionados too with stalls including:  

Jewellery, wool blankets, cushions, puzzles, football art, prints, felted animals, art prints, decorations, wreaths, pottery, independent books, home fragrance, candles, knitwear, toys, crochet, 3D prints, resin and Lino prints.

All the upcoming Makers Markets events are dog-friendly.

They will be held in Exchange Square, next to Chester Market.
