AN INCIDENT close to Chester city centre sparked a major emergency services response this morning, Friday.
Fire engines from Chester, Warrington and Lymm, an aerial ladder platform from Chester and a rope rescue unit from Malpas attended the scene in Boughton at about 11am today (Friday, November 15).
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Fire crews were called to a person stuck on a roof.
"A specialist rope rescue team attended and the aerial ladder platform was used to get the person down safely.
"The NWAS Hazardous Area Response Team attended along with police who cordoned off the area for safety."
