THERE is disruption across the Chester and Ellesmere Port lines of the Merseyrail network this morning (Thursday, November 21) due to signalling issues.
Passengers are being advised that due to a signalling problem between Rock Ferry and Green Lane, services running through these stations will be cancelled or delayed.
Disruption is expected to continue until at least 10.30am.
Similar issues affected passengers on the Ellesmere Port line yesterday (Wednesday, November 20), due to a signalling issue between Hooton and Ellesmere Port.
A rail replacement bus service was implemented at these and several other stations across the Merseyrail network as several other stations were also affected by bad weather.
