A BODY has sadly been discovered in the search for 48-year-old Paul, who was reported missing in the Flintshire area overnight.
Chief Inspector Simon Kneale said: “Formal identification has not yet been confirmed, but Paul’s family has been informed, and a file will be prepared for the coroner by colleagues at the British Transport Police.
“I would like to thank the community for their support during our searches. Our thoughts remain with Paul’s family.”
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a report of a casualty on the tracks just after 9am today (21 November) near Connah's Quay.
“Officers and paramedics attended and sadly a person was pronounced deceased. The incident is not thought to be suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
