TWO fire crews were called out to a property in a village on the outskirts of Chester.

Firefighters attended the scene in Church Street, Tarvin, at about 4pm on Friday, November 22.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A fire involving a chimney was attended by firefighters who used a hose reel lance to cool the cavity.

"A thermal imaging camera was also used to check the loft area of the property, which was smoke logged."
